Setting up your Smart WiFi network

1. Power WiFi node (child node) on, within 1-2 metres of the router (parent node) and within the same room.​

2. Wait until the LED of the child node(s) shows solid purple. NB: if it shows any other colour, hold the reset button on child node for approximately 15 seconds (until the LED turns off), then release and wait 5 minutes until it turns solid purple​.

3. Press the reset button on the router (parent node) 5 times in quick succession, ideally 5 presses within 5 seconds

4. Wait 10 minutes until the child node pairs with the router (until the LED on the child node is solid blue). ​

5. You can now move the child node to their desired location, we suggest keeping it within about 10 meters to ensure optimum connection. If the node is moved and the light turns orange this signifies a poor/weak signal and should be moved closer.​

6. If you are adding more than one child node, power them up in order of increasing distance from the parent node, and wait approximately 3 minutes until the LED of the moved node is solid blue before progressing to the next node​.
